Beautiful nature trail, even when everything is bare. It’s a point to point, but if you add a wall through historic Huguenot village you can create a loop.
Many different trails to ramble through, so many birds and different types of trees. Just a nice peaceful place to come and walk.
Three of us started out walking the rail trail on a cold February day. The trail had lots of ice on it so we got off at Huguenot Street where we found a path into Nyquist-Harcourt Sanctuary. We had no idea what this was. After crossing a nice wooden bridge we were faced with a couple of signs giving us trail names.
Beautiful, easy trails, community garden, classified trees, awesome diversity. A gem in a town already full of wonderful places to go. A must for bird enthusiasts :)
