Confirmed from Oak Glen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation spot with ball fields, basketball courts, and a playground, plus a dog park.
What runners say about Oak Glen Park
“The playground is a nice size, the concession stand is clean and there is a lot of parking available.”
Local spot with soccer, baseball, basketball courts and a dog park. Easy access, clean, safe and centrally located within Howell two. You can also access the manasquan reservoir loop via a trail that runs behind the park (trailhead across from the new pickleball courts), which crosses Oak Glen road and joins the main…
This is a great place for recreation. Nice baseball field, soccer field, basketball courts, and a little playground for children. The bark park is pretty nice too. The only problem is a few inconsiderate people who let their dogs run around off-leash.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
