Confirmed from Oak Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tree-filled hilltop park featuring playgrounds, picnic tables and basketball courts.
What runners say about Oak Hill Park
“It has beautiful scenery with the many oak trees and lots of squirrels, pigeons, Chipmunks and other various birds running and flying around.”
“The mature oak trees provide cooling shade in the summer, beautiful fall foliage and an aesthetic backdrop even in the winter.”
Olean does not disappoint when it comes to parks. Oak Hill has 2 really great dog run areas. Both are securely double entry gate fenced in. Their are dog obstacle courses. Room to run, water fountains, doggy doo disposal cans and bags, plus a really clean bathroom for your human friend. Love this park! Woof!
One of the nicest small city parks around. Great big oak trees shade most of it, a few sugar maples fill in the gaps. Used to be a cemetery but they excavated all the bodies to make it a park.
Having lived in Olean most of my life Oak Hill Park is still one of my favorites. The trees and the squirrels make the park. It is a beautiful place to walk my dogs or just sit and relax.
I grew up across the street from this park, so I'm slightly biased and nostalgic...but I think this is a great park! So the playground isn't huge but it has enough to occupy younger children for a bit. But this park offers much more than just a playground. There are two tennis courts, as well as a basketball hoop.
