Confirmed from O'Connell Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Thinking about buying a home in Savage? A great option is the neighborhoods around Oconnell Park. The homes in this area were built in the late 1980s into the 1990s. Many styles. ut a lot of 3 level splits, 4 level splits and 2 stoey homes. Prices are in the $400k range. the park to me is one of the nicest in Savage.

A multi-purpose park. One outhouse that is fairly well taken care of as long as others doing their business do it cleanly. In the west you will find a small parking lot and a large baseball field which eventually slopes down toward a basketball court. In the middle a playground is available year round for all ages.

★★★★☆ — Tiffany , Jul 2018

I love this park! it has walking trails, a soccer field, tennis courts, playground, ice rink, warming house, baseball diamonds, and several parking areas. The playground is well suited for children of many ages, but the youngest kids, under two, may need some help.

★★★★★ — Matt , Mar 2019

Nice park, nothing big. Soccer field, tennis, courts and a basketball court. Playground is decent. Nice walking path around the pond

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
