We absolutely love to hike there. We got so into the wonderful scenery and excitement, we hiked 16 miles without recognizing it. We would have kept going to experience more ( which we have many times since) but it was getting dark. By far the best hiking in the DFW area.
Nice old bridge. On the National Register of Historic Places. Small park next to it. Great place to visit, walk dogs, etc.
A nice hiking trail once you get away from the bridge. It's a neat little plane to go for a walk.
Parking is tricky if you have a large vehicle. Back in or park at the top leveled area. Nothing worse than getting done with your hike and you can't leave bcz you can't back out without hitting the other cars.
