Confirmed from Old Mill Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Flat, winding nature trail featuring an abandoned vehicle and a bridge over a river.

Well maintained, decent parking, and the accessible portion is a great walk for families with young children. Even the portions after that aren't particularly difficult.
The Old Mill Trail is a perfect property that the Berkshire Natural Resources Council offers to the community. It is a fantastic place to visit and view nature. One sight along the trail is an abandoned vehicle, that is slowly being taken back by nature.
Easy walk along a nicely kept trail. First section there is decent parking. Trail goes along side part of the housatonic river with a bridge going over. Fun trail to bring kids, tons to look at and plenty to learn from about the mill that was located in this section.
The first half is an easy prepared trail with a self guided tour featuring the area's industrial history along the East Branch of the Housatonic River. That section is wheel chair and stroller accessible. The second half is more rugged and hilly. We have hiked here often and taken friends and family, too.
