Confirmed from Old Mine Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Old Mine Park is great for hiking as well as sitting by the water eating lunch on your lunch hour. There were plenty of geese in the water looking for something to eat as well. No matter what you do at Old Mine Park you'll have a good time that's for sure. Pictures were taken on a nice March day.

This park is so underrated. Not only is it in a quiet area, but there are two pavilions for picnics, and many individual tables available. The area along the river is beautiful, and the hiking trails are a blast. It makes a great place to stop for a break if you're doing the rails to trails walk.

★★★★★ — Nicole , Jul 2016

A nice short walk. The trail isn't well marked but it's easy to backtrack if you make a wrong turn and hit a dead end. The carpark is large enough that you can always find a spot. The trail is popular with mountain bikers.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
