Confirmed from Pequonnock River Valley Park - Whitney Avenue Entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Pequonnock River Valley Park - Whitney Avenue Entrance
North of town locale, great for walking or swimming or fishing or hiking, take your pick. I go walking almost everyday here because it's level and easy to walk (or run) as it's a part of the Housatonic Valley trail system stretching from Bridgeport to Newtown. So easy to walk even my granny could do it!
Brought my dogs here for a walk and they loved it! A lot of places to stop by the water if they need to cool off. Super easy to walk. Lot of other people biking running and walking. Def a great place. Hesitant to leave a review bc I don't want it to get busier!
