Confirmed from Indian Ledge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (244 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Beautiful park that is well kept.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Miles of fun, family-friendly trails.”

Great trails to walk and bike! Lots of people walking their dogs as well. Very clean! Saw people fishing in the stream, too. Cute little playground and splash pad. The only downside was that the bathrooms were locked on a weekday at noon.

Love this place so much for leisure bike riding and for hiking. It’s super nice and a haven away from the concrete and hustle and bustle of nine to five. I only wish there was more parking for non-residents.

I'm wondering about this park. How secluded are these trails? Could Fotis Dulos have parked there long enough to dig a hole and ditch his wife? This park is one of many in the area I'd like to explore further. Dulos was driving through this area with his wife's body in May of 2019.

Awesome park for the kids. It's a great combination of wood and metal. Large park that suits all ages. Spread out nicely. Actual nice bathrooms. There are walking trails and also a dog park. Only stayed for an hour but would recommend others to give it a try.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 13 mentions

“The BMX track, playground, artificial turf soccer field, dog park, and other amenities are great!”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
