Beautiful and easy trails right in Orinda’s backyard. The multiple trails allow for you to choose the path that is right for you. Don’t forget your trail pass and to sign in.
Wide trail along the reservoir is mud free during rains, and easy to avoid ticks. Near the boat launches at each end there are toilets, garbage cans, and water. The western boat launch has a store, too. The trail is virtually flat, and makes an easy ride for mountain bikes.
Be aware, no dogs allowed. Need a permit. Horses ok. Will try again some day when I no longer have a dog. I'm sure the trail is great!
