Best kept secret (until now) for easy hiking along San Pablo Reservoir. Pristine, almost flat, romantic area. EBMUD hiking fee mandatory. Buy it online BEFORE your hike. Its very very cheap and lasts 1 year!
Great place to start a medium-hilly run. Orinda connector trail meets up with bear creek trail and Oursan trail, with the actual trail sometimes fire road wide and other times single track thin. Often it looks like you're running through a maintenance yard. Nice views of the Briones reservoir from Oursan trail.
