Confirmed from Old Town Reserve Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering a bike trail and a picnic area, plus a public restroom.
What runners say about Old Town Reserve Park
“Very small, one picnic pavilion, BUT more than enough parking for the pavilion or easy entry onto the Little Miami Scenic Trail.”
“About an hour to YS and the path headed there is mostly shaded.”
Great access to the bike trail, tire pump and bike repair stand at parking lot. Two miles north on the bike trail is an old railroad iron bridge over the Little Miami River. Interesting historical sign at parking lot says this is the birthplace of Tecumseh.
This is a nice little park. It's right next to a big soccer area with a lot of fields and it's right off 68, making it easy to get to. I think it gets used most for a place for folks to park and use the bike trail that runs from Springfield to Xenia (where you can access more bike trails from near the train station)…
Really lovely place for a calm picnic. Outside of the bike path there's not much to do other than being in walking distance of soccer fields. But very calm and chill. Only portable bathrooms are available. I'd recommend this place to chill out, but not for kids who need lots of entertainment.
Very small, one picnic pavilion, BUT more than enough parking for the pavilion or easy entry onto the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Open field and path good for kids and pets!
