Confirmed from Sara Lee Arnovitz Nature Preserve Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park featuring a boardwalk and trails for hiking, plus marsh plants.
What runners say about Sara Lee Arnovitz Nature Preserve Trailhead
“The rest of the trail meanders through the woods with several benches to sit on and take in the beautiful view!”
“Easy walk, trails are well maintained and really easy to follow.”
“Definitely recommend if you're looking for an easy walk through nature!”
Easy walk, trails are well maintained and really easy to follow. No worries about getting lost or heading the wrong way. Beginner friendly. It was still cold when I went, but I did see a lot of birds and some ducks. I imagine in warmer weather you will see all kinds of wildlife.
My whole family walk Sara Lee Arnovitz Nature Preserve! It's a lovely trail! Starts out with a composite deck walking trail, then past the bird watching tower, next up the bridge and creek! The rest of the trail meanders through the woods with several benches to sit on and take in the beautiful view!
This is a 43 acre park along a creek with not much more than a parking lot, a foot bridge, and trail. It is kept up well and has a nice boardwalk across a wet area. Some of the trail is muddy and could be improved.
This is a fantastic little park. I think there's one main loop and two or three small side quests. The first trail option is down a boardwalk section over a marsh or swampy area that leads to the back of the park and the other trails. The second trail head goes up a good sized hill and curves left into the wooded area.
