Confirmed from Olympic Blvd Staging Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved trail featuring trees along the route, plus a chicken coop.
What runners say about Olympic Blvd Staging Area
“Slight incline in this direction as it moves and winds through beautiful neighborhoods and past St.”
“It's mostly shaded so is comfortable on warm days and the yards and visions of the homes along the trail are full of wonderful landscaping ideas.”
The Lafayette-Moraga trail is great for both walking and biking. Good for all ages. There is a surprising amount to see for a trail that goes through the suburbs.
Nice trail with a slow incline. At the 5.5 Mile mark there are playgrounds, grassy areas, a bathroom, water fountain, volleyball courts. The trail is behind or in front of the neighborhood homes. A lot of trees. There is also a Creek. There is a small waterfall at the 4.25 Mile mark.
This is parking area where you can park your car and go for biking on Lafayette trail. The trail is really nice and shaded by lots of trees. Walking , running , biking all choices are there. Good for family rides too. Just be careful at the trail crosses with roads. Take a stop and then go.. Have a good health !!!
Good trail for hiking or bike riding. We regularly park here and ride the trail towards Lafayette. Most dog owners are good about keeping their pets under control and picking up after them. Bring change (nickels or dimes I think) to feed the chickens.
