We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Oneonta Susquehanna Greenway - Silas Lane Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Oneonta Susquehanna Greenway - Silas Lane Trailhead
Love this trail! The parking area is located in the Otsego County Southern Waste Transfer Station. One giant loop with a few cut throughs, it's about 2 miles in total. There are great information signs that tell you what that specific area has in terms of Flora and fauna.
Eagles rabbits, turtles and too many birds to list. Great place for a relaxing walk
This is a great spot to take a nice quiet walk. We saw a lot of deer. The grass was nice and low you can tell it does get mowed nice and often. There are some benches along the path overlooking the river. Some places the weeds are too high at this time of year but be perfect in the fall.
Nice trail for walking or biking. The trail is mostly grass, not paved. There are some annoying mosquitoes when you go close to the river.
