Confirmed from Orange Village Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park featuring a playground, tennis and basketball courts, picnic areas, and a dog park.
What runners say about Orange Village Park
“There are also picnic benches, a beach volleyball court and public restrooms all of which are in a great condition.”
“Not to mention nice shady area benches to watch the kids play.”
The overall park was great, but I went for the dog park. The dog park was a tiny barren landscape. No shade. Two out in the sun benches and lots of gravel. None of the other reviews captured how small the small and large dog parks were. I have visited many dog parks and this is by far the most disappointing.
I was seriously impressed by the condition, easy parking, variety of playground equipment and picnic facilities, AND a secure dog park to boot - great stop while we travelled through town on a recent trip! Bathrooms were also very clean, and the paved pathways were great for dog walking and scooters!
Can’t say enough good things about the Orange Village Park Absolutely love their walking path through a beautiful wooded area and dog park (with two separate areas for large and small dogs.) The Playground is large and has two separate areas one for younger kids and one for older children.
My kids enjoy this playground very much! Things that spin, multiple slides, lots to climb on, and a mostly clean restroom. Also has a little lending library, pavillions, benches, ball courts, hiking (walking) trails, and police/fire stations right as you pull into the parking lot

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
