Confirmed from Orchard Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“Most of the trail is nicely paved, and the part I walked on backs some apartments and housing complexes, so it is very quiet.”

lowkey a hidden gem! more than what meets the eye… a very long biking/walking path that i think might go all the way to campus passes through much terrain and many playground structures and benches and picnic areas which is super exciting!

This treasure boasts a spacious parking lot, an impressive soccer field, a fun playground, convenient restrooms, and an amazing trail—plus so much more!

★★★★★ — Tauhida , Jul 2024

Huge park in a quiet residential neighborhood. My kids had a blast, running and laughing. We pulled out the waters guns and played through the entire park. Some nice trails, a small bridge, soccer field, baseball diamond and a basketball court (the ball court could use some TLC), multiple playgrounds, we will…

A very quite and lovely park in State College. Has a bike path laid out surrounded by trees. Has recreational playgrounds for baseball, football and tennis with seating areas and public water fountain. One of the best walking places if you're looking to relax.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
