Confirmed from Sunset Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded park featuring trails & picnic areas plus a playground, basketball court & ball field.
What runners say about Sunset Park
“Tree-shaded spots with comfortable grass for picnic meals even on the sunniest days.”
“Very peaceful to walk and there are different courts to play basketball, baseball and badminton.”
Awesome Mountain Biking trails in the woods with big jumps, drops, and rock gardens perfect for any rider. I highly recommend making a trip!
One of the best parks in state college with open functional training equipment for those, who wants to workout outdoors in nature ♥️ Also they have play area for kids (fire engine toy is cherry on the cake ) . Very peaceful to walk and there are different courts to play basketball, baseball and badminton.
This large Park is tucked out of the way. A true hidden gem. The thing I like best about this park is that it is very well shaded. So if you can't take the heat or perhaps your older and the Sun is too much for you, this would be a great place to go.
Really nice place. Trail walks, picnic pavilions & tables, volleyball, basketball, playgrounds, baseball field, bathrooms, ADA parking and access. Very clean and well kept!
