Great walking trails. Well marked. Some are quite hilly. Nice that Oakland County parks are free for residents now.
Didn't know what to expect as part of the trail is just a path thru the grass... and worry about ticks. But today went to the parking lot on Baldwin Rd. just south of Clarkston Rd. and the trail was about a 3 foot wide gravel path. Pleasant walk with much of this part of the trail tree-covered.
We really like taking hikes at Orion Oaks the terrain is varying with flat and mildly hilly. Just some nice wide open vistas that are beautiful. Theres good bird watching and wildlife abound here. Breathe the fresh air and enjoy this park.
This park is well maintained and offers a decent amount of trails and elevation that can be hiked from multiple directions to increase difficulty. It's not the rocky mountains, so make the most of it and. Enjoy...
