Confirmed from Overholser Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Built in 1919, this reservoir features a historic dam, boat ramps, a fishing pier & a pavilion.

Love this lake! Wish it was a swimming lake but that would be my only complaint! That and how busy it's gotten here lately but that comes with the growing population in this town I guess LOL. I've lived here since I was in third grade and I'm now 30.

My first visit and this place was so serene. I was there with my friend just walking, talking and it was peaceful. Very pocket friendly and family friendly. Fishing is allowed however I don't know if you need a license. This place is definitely a historic building.

It’s a wonderful place for walking, picnicking, fishing, kayaking and other activities.. It’s calm and peaceful The view is beautiful and stunning specially when you watch the sunset.. You can have lunch with your friends or family on the benches while listening to the birds whispering and the sound of the water..

Lovely place to walk. Felt relatively safe. Neat experience to be able to walk over the dam. Lots of turtles to look at along the dam pathway. Seemed like there were multiple good fishing spots as well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
