Confirmed from Eldon Lyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Sprawling, recreational space featuring barbecue grills, a basketball court, open fields, disc golf, a baseball diamond, picnic tables, a playground, soccer and walking trails, as well as a statue, a track and restrooms.

Great park with alot of open fields for football practice. There's a big pavilion with picnic tables and grill for parties or events. Frisbee golf, basketball, baseball, and walking trails.

Went to this park today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. This is actually a pretty nice park. It's quiet, not super busy and has a great walking path that goes around the entire park! There are lots of trees that provide a good amount of shade in most parts, which is good when you're walking your pets!

★★★★★ — Eric , Oct 2025

We take our 19m old here quite often, and always have a great time with him! He is a runner, and there are indeed tons of open spaces to run around in! The playground area is fairly small and simple, but can get the job done for kiddos.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

⛰️ Hills / elevation 6 mentions

“That said, there are areas for basketball, soccer, a baseball/softball field, a big hill that’s perfect for sledding in the winter, and tons of room to fly kites!”
