Confirmed from Overlook Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Scenic

Scenic outdoor space featuring trails for hiking, fishing and river viewing.

What runners say about Overlook Park

Perfect place to sit back think and enjoy the water. Medium popularity. At times can be busy. Also, watch out for when they let the water out of the dam. They give you plenty of time with a siren but just be aware if you are in the deeper parts of the trail with a mini beach with sand!

Gorgeous and quiet but not the best maintained park. It’s hard to know what is actually the path and some paths can require crossing shallow streams by jumping across rocks. Maybe it’s just me but I have yet to go here and not see some creepy guy smoking pot in a pickup truck in the parking lot.

Cool park with a trail down to the river. The river bed is fun to walk around and observe the dam from a different perspective. There are 2 picnic tables at the top of the trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
