The park itself is quaint and quiet. It basically is one giant Loop that circles around some ball fields and goes beside the river. The nice thing about it is there are geese which seem to flock frequently in the area. This is also one of the biggest letdowns because they go to the bathroom everywhere.
Love how much has been done to the park over the past few years. I've always thought that there's nothing to keep the kids busy for those families who can't afford all the sports and expensive places for fun. It's always upset me because there are tons of bars and restaurants and places for adults but not for the kids.
Nice place to take a peaceful walk. Spend many days there throughout my childhood
