Beautiful, loved the sound of the rushing water. We didnt realize though we had to turn around though and go back, to get back unless we wanted to hike a diff trail to make a loop.
Very peaceful trail! 1.5miles to the end and back, 3 total. Only saw one other person, we went at 8am. Also saw a pretty big black bear. Pretty rocky trail and we crossed the stream a few times, really fun, will definitely go again!
Apparently this is a newer trail. It's well-marked, up until the point where it diverges into the LT; they don't keep the solid yellow blazes for some reason. It loops allegedly, but we went out and back since we weren't exactly sure where to go (our fault for not taking a picture of the map).
Following trail markers to the LT then improvising using log road. .controlled forest lot trail and a small downhill connector trail to red run trail and bear road made a loop for us
