Confirmed from Panola Mountain State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Hi all you out there who view the reviews before going to a place. This is a good place for a short hiking and trails. There may be three or four trails almost around 3/4 miles to 1 1/4 miles. If you guys are there with a child there are also a plenty of play ground for kids.

Such Beauty, intrigue, and Peace! Taking advantage of the different cycles of 'Mother Nature' in local places like this is exciting and exquisite! There's no place like nature and we are fortunate to live so close to it! Need some exquisite beauty for your soul?

I visited the park with my kids, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's like a hidden gem. The park is beautiful, quiet and clean. There is a playground, restrooms, lots of picnic areas, gym area, trails, etc. My kids love it and want me to take them back every day. There is also a park fee.

I have the best experience every time I visit this park. This huge park has so many trails to walk or hike. You can see the small things nature has to offer as well as seeing the big picture all the rocks around you! A total hidden gem ✨

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
