Confirmed from Everett Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park with walking paths leading to the South River for fishing, kayaking, wading and tubing.
What runners say about Everett Park
“Beautiful area to hike and just enjoy nature.”
“It's quiet if there aren't too many cars passing by and it's a good fishing spot.”
Easy trail access to the South River for fishing; and, for wading in the shallows and relaxing on the shoals. Be careful, however, with young children and animals as currents can be strong in some areas, and after rains. There's no bathrooms (or portables).
Quiet small hidden gem. Parked in sandy area inside gate. Discovered a narrow trail along the river.
Park could use some cleaning up and some downed signs replaced. Trails, woods, water - what more can you ask for? Fishing wasn't great, but it's a tough time to be fishing anyway.
This is an emerging Oasis in the city of Stonecrest. The South River running water sounds bordering this park makes it very unique. Add to that the Rolling Hills and the newly installed slate pathways this is walking relaxation it is best. And it's still evolving. He got a visit this place to appreciate it.
