Confirmed from Panorama Vista Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sizable nature preserve with miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
What runners say about Panorama Vista Preserve
“I like the benches properly put every quarter mile or so, very clean.”
“A great place to go jogging or walking.”
“Very peaceful and quiet place to teach kids about nature.”
Had a lovely walk with my dog on Valentine's Day at the Preserve. It was empty except for a couple cars that drove by. Place was very clean and cared for.
It's a great please to loose the leash and explore. I like the benches properly put every quarter mile or so, very clean.
A great place to make you feel like you're out of the city. They do a good job of keeping the trails maintained. I can't wait to see what it looks like when all of their young plantings mature.
Great place for walks dog friendly I lived in Bakersfield for years never knew this was here very highly recommend if you are one to appreciate the outdoors

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
