Confirmed from Panther Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious state park with miles of hiking & horseback riding trails, lake fishing & camping.

“Lights are beautiful, bright.”
This is one of my favorite places to hike. It's beautiful. They also have fishing and things for the kids to do.
Some of the trails are in need of some work but it looks like that is in progress. I will be checking them out this spring and summer. I went back and the trails were in good shape but after all the rain recently take bug spray
Awesome park nature trail is the best dog loved it kid loved it I loved it.
I am a k9 handler for search and rescue and I have been to a lot of parks not only in Daviess County but in various other counties and states as well. Panther creek is in my top 3.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
