Confirmed from Parkers Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lakefront recreation area known for swimming & ice skating, plus trails, picnics & a playground.
What runners say about Parkers Lake Park
“Nice park clean tidy neighborhood respite multiple shelters outdoor and indoor places for picnics and parties.”
“Huge walking trail, so many benches with gorgeous views, and great fishing spot.”
Great park. Attn scooters and roller blade skaters: trails are asphalt, but uneven, hard to ride until you get to Lucide Line Trail. Wonderful playground, little beach, benches with scenic views.
It was a beautiful surprise to run into this lake. I’m new to Minnesota and was pleasantly surprised.
Absolutely my favorite park in Minnesota! I’m there almost every afternoon. In the fall it’s a great walk around the lake with amazing tree colors and in the winter you can walk/skate on the lake ! Very peaceful! Also has a very nice playground for kids and amazing spots to just sit and watch the lake.
Wildlife…wildlife…wildlife. Romantic setting. Nice barefooted walk on the beach. American Eagles nest in plain sight and snapping turtle in the midst of laying her eggs. Top ten in local lakes. Hidden trail gems for privacy.
Trail conditions & character
“The trail goes around the lake for half way beside the lake, which has a nice view and chill breeze.”
“Limited parking, not made for big families or big gatherings.”
