Confirmed from Pascagoula River Audubon Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Familiar nature center (part of the Audubon chain) offering trails and playground activities for kids.
What runners say about Pascagoula River Audubon Center
“This hidden gem is beautiful both inside and out, but the staff are the true pearls.”
“I’ll echo the other reviews that this place is a pastoral gem; an oasis of calm, quiet and natural beauty in coastal Mississippi.”
“There are activities for all ages.”
Stopped for a native plant sale, and stayed a bit longer to explore. There are marked paths with signage about native plants and wildlife. Saw quite a few turtles and birds. Lovely views.
Greeted warmly by staff. They were making their best efforts to accommodate us for canoeing even though we didn’t book in advance. We didn’t end up going but they made us feel welcome and tried their best which is what counts! Beautiful grounds for a short walk with kids
We had so much fun here. We arrived just as they were feeding the reptiles and our girls enjoyed watching the turtles eat. We really enjoyed the relaxing walk on the walking paths and watching the rain from the covered dock. But my favorite was sitting on the top of the dock and enjoying the view.
Enjoyed McCoy's River & Marsh Tours. Beautiful vegetation, birds and pleasant, knowledgeable captain. Audubon Center has a nice, short nature walk. Inside is interesting and can be completed in about 15 minutes.

- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
