Confirmed from Pasture Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“There grounds are beautiful and there is a basic public access restroom with Men's and Women's being separated.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“This is a great place to visit if you want a peaceful walk in meadow and traditional Floridian woodland.”

It was raining when we came here to geo-cache, but I shall return soon! Did you know... The Pasture Reserve is located in the ❤ of the Florida aquifer, in the middle of the Green Swamp, which is an area of critical concern for the state! It was such a pleasant drive to get here, as it is still very rural.

This is a great place to visit if you want a peaceful walk in meadow and traditional Floridian woodland. The trails are immaculately maintained and the sign posting is great. Look out for tree frogs walking across the paths in the woodland at the top of the trail - they are tiny and well camouflaged.

Great place for hiking and unplugging. Proof positive of the importance our wildlands hold in the eyes of Lake County BCC as their staff save reclaim and restore these precious old Florida ecosystems.

Great long like mile trail but not much else happening here..they do have a bird watch spot but we didnt see any..the grasshoppers are gigantic like huge but the trail walk on the path was a nice one

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
