Confirmed from Paul Hopkins Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic facilities, and a bridge, plus seasonal Christmas lights.

Nice clean smaller park. A bridge across the bayou connecting both sides of the park. A deck with 3 covered areas near the water you can fish from. 1 big pavilion, 2 smaller covered areas wit picnic tables. Sidewalk walking path
It was very peaceful. I was out of town and needed to kill some time and didn't want to spend $ and this park was nearby... it's very scenic they were also playing Christmas music in the background. I'm very glad I went
I have found so much peace at this park. Excellent bird watching location. Picnic pavillions are available. Beautiful pier to walk out and feel the beauty of the Dickinson Bayou. Playgrounds, Festival of Lights in the holiday season. This is a great place to take a nature break.
We frequent this park because it’s clean, peaceful, and they have a community book box. We see ducks, birds & butterflies.. it’s well-landscaped and easy to navigate. The playground is great for the little ones, we like the small trail in the back too!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
