This is one of my favorite places to walk my dog! you're practically in town but the way they made this park you hardly even see any structures! aside from the level raised gravel walkway you feel like you are miles from town. And rarely do i see more then one of two other vehicles if any when i am there.
Peaceful walking trail. Usually very little traffic. The last several times I was there, I was the only one. My dog loves it here! A great place to look for birds and other small critters. Lovely trees and brush everywhere right now. Depending on the season it's like an entirely different place.
Really enjoyed the quiet at this park. It has a casual walking path that takes you under a few trees, around the backside of the park which faces open farm land and a few houses in the distance. I posted images to highlight what I liked best during my visit.
One of the best finds...a 20 acre horse pasture turned into a Native tree, plant and creature refuge. Level walking, great for kids and adults.
