Confirmed from Stu Visser Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a short hiking trail and boardwalk through wetlands with wildlife sightings.

Peaceful short walk. Loved the boardwalk trail that winds through and around swamp. There were SO many birds. The perfect spot for bird watching!
We stopped here in hopes of enjoying a little Michigan wildlife after eating too much in Holland. 😅 We weren't disappointed. This is a very nice walking trail - easy and flat, in a beautiful location filled with birds, muskrats, snakes, turtles and fish.
A quaint little trail to walk if you need to get away. It is right off the roadside and there are several quiet spots you can sit and enjoy the peaceful views. Warning, bring rain boots if it has been wet out. The trails flood when the water gets too high.
Excellent short hike. Great wildlife also so bring your binoculars. Lots of turtles to spot too. Trails are easy for all ages.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
