* Was not a huge surprise that bugs were swarming me while I walked the black swamp trail. Fortunately, yesterday I purchased Zevo mosquitoes and tick repellent, seemed to work great and deserved the advertising hype, time will tell. * This park has minimal signage compared to the other Metroparks I have visited.
I love this park a lot. It’s kept up really well and it’s always a safe space to be. I don’t feel like i have to watch my back when i walk alone here. I love the playground, even though i’m older now and i can’t play it’s still nice to see a place where kids can go.
A bike path, running trails, a kids playground, tennis courts, and a few pavilions are just some of the amenities at Pearson park. You've also opportunity to be alone, and enjoy God's Creation, or go fishing or canoing. Nice local place, to feel like your getting away.
We just went to the playground section of Pearson Metropark and loved it!! It had lots of stuff for my four-year-old and two-year-old to play on. My two-year-old is not the most stable walker and she was still able to safely climb all the way up to the top of the play structure.
