Confirmed from Pecos Ranch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

The area is beautiful, and I have loved taking walks around all the water areas, enjoying the duck and geese as I walk by. However there's been a recent increase is speeding drivers through there, who don't care about mowing down the duck and geese walking across the street. This should NEVER HAPPEN!

Beautiful neighborhood, a great place t to live and have a family. It's quiet and the lakes attract birds and other wildlife. There's a large park for walking and a secure pool area.

★★★★☆ — Kathryn , Jul 2017

Small neighborhood park that is a nice rest stop while out walking through the neighborhood. Seems to be well kept. Great place to walk your dog, also.

★★★★☆ — Colleen , Feb 2023

I'm giving this park 5 stars for what it is. This park is not a big park and it does not have water and birds like the Google picture might show. Water and birds are in the adjacent neighborhood. The park has a lit basketball court and another basketball court sized concrete area for generic use.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
