Confirmed from Pelton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Pelton Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (29 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

Very nice place. Small and rustic. Couple small loops. Many many nut trees. Very shaded on trails

★★★★☆ — Adam , Oct 2019

I wouldn't call this a park, a nature area yes. Nothing but a nature trail, pond, a creek, and trees. The only thing of real interest is a eagle nest. You may be lucky enough to see the eagle, maybe a squirrel, a crane, or a heroin.

★★★★☆ — John , Sep 2017

Great little park, about a mile to walk all the trails. Trails vary from easy to medium with some inclines and a fallen tree to cross . A little under developed with some wet spots, but it is Spring! Picnic table, park bench, and charcoal grill for use. Take the trails and find the giant oak tree the middle!

★★★★★ — Forest , May 2026

It's a small but nice little park conveniently located for a quick nature walk

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
