Confirmed from Peninsula Point Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground-equipped space shaded by mature trees, featuring picnic tables, shelters, and grills.
What runners say about Peninsula Point Park
“Wow New great place to see music, the park was beautiful, gorgeous Rose garden, big spruce trees to sit under.”
“It's one of those parks that are nice and quiet, because nobody knows it's there.”
This was a great location for our company picnic. Plenty of room for games, interior space for serving food and areas of shade to eat. Took a quick walk around the area and the river was full of ducks. It is neat to see a place where the Rum River and the Might Mississippi merge together.
Very nice park located on the Mississippi River. First time I've been there when the water was high enough to cover the point, though. Update May 2022... water is even higher. Otherwise great place for a quick walk along the joining of the Rum and Mississippi Rivers.
It a little hidden gem nothing to crazy but great place for a picnic or to bring the kids little park with walking paths
