We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Pere Marquette State Park Climbing Area access trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Pere Marquette State Park Climbing Area access trail
One of the greatest parks in Illinois. Boat slips, lodge, trails, climbing, and more. A true gem in Illinois. The construction of the lodge is astounding. Highly recommended.
The trails are great. At the end of the of hike you feel a real accomplishment. Not the beauty of cliffs.
Great access to the cliffs. Nice little walk if you're not into climbing.
