Perkins Park is a gem, located at the end of Washington Street, off South Main Street in Newark. The property, once part of the Jackson & Perkins Rose company, was set off in 1926 and donated to the village. Over the years families have enjoyed the park for picnics, ball playing, walking, and observing wild life.
Very nice place to go for a walk, a run, sit by the stream and relax or let the children play on the 2 parks. You can have a party at one of the 4 pavilion's. 2 ball fields for a great game.
Nice family park. Walking path. Gazebo. Brook with ducks. Pavilions. Nice playground. Bathrooms need better up keep tho. But for our villiages' size its good.
Great park.... I honestly forgotten this place existed. When for a walk and had a great first date here... Not a bad place so go and sit or walk.
