Confirmed from Pete's Pond Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small local park featuring a walking trail, a pond & guided nature walks in a scenic setting.
What runners say about Pete's Pond Preserve
Never really went here until the last few years. The trail is bigger then it looks. As is the park itself. Sometimes there are some trouble makers after school or late at night right as they close. But never had any issues.
I did not know this place existed. It runs behind the school;the path entrance is all the way in the back. A few very steep hills with thoughtfully placed benches allow you to catch your breath and enjoy the beauty. There is an outhouse at the beginning.
This is a very nice hidden gem. I was prepared to describe it as a "pocket" park site unseen. Nice trail, well taken care of. Picnic tables and benches to rest or read at and shady too.
Should be noted that there is no playground & one port a potty. That said, it is a great place for flora and fauna. Nice, fairly challenging walk, clean path. Many benches.
