Confirmed from Petravice Family Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside nature reserve featuring hiking trails, kayaking and a footbridge.

“This serene river adds an extra layer of tranquility to the park's atmosphere, its gentle flow providing a soothing soundtrack to your exploration.”
Beautiful. You can hear the cows mooing in the distance. Kinda creepy at first, trying to figure out if it’s a skinwalker or not 🤔 Love this place. Got rained in today so I didn’t get to do the full trail but I will be back soon.
Beautiful park with nice trails. Captain Hammond island new pedestrian bridge is nice. Several benches and picnic tables are on trail
What a little hidden treasure! When I just need a short trail in some very lush green, this is where I escape to . You can take the kids, go alone, take friends/family visiting. It’s just a cool place to be outside.
A well maintained and little known preserve. Beautiful wide paths through native woodlands past streams and crossing rivers. Lots of birds to listen to. Covered areas to picnic and grills available. Kayak launching areas near ample parking. Best news… it’s all free.
