Confirmed from Phillips-Lovdal Farm Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Phillips-Lovdal Farm Preserve

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (7 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Gorgeous property. Open fields for dogs and kids. Also a 5k trail and ski trail. Couple other marked trails that go into the woods that are very pretty. There’s a boardwalk over a fen (look it up. Not many around) and a spot to sit and observe. Lots of benches around too

This very hidden land trust property, that is well maintain. The property has 5k running trail. There also park bench to sit on, and just look over the fields. It look this land where the land trust been spending it money to keep up and add things for the public to use on their land.

Great easy trail system with a boardwalk, lovely open fields, and an old apple orchard. Peaceful and quiet - more than likely to pass no others on the trails. Great for trail running!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
