Confirmed from Pickerington Ponds Metro Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Trails are well maintained, a few different parking areas that are adequate in size. Also I liked the observation platforms that gives you a better view of the ponds and wetlands.

Awe we got to go here right before a thunder storm and the ponds were so calm. The bridge and trees are so beautiful in the wind while the kids got to play in the rain. We got to see several murals and the observation area at Ellis pond. You’ve got the start of several trails in the area as well.

Nice and clean park. It was quiet with very few people. The path was not paved, just grass, so prepare for wet ground if visiting after rainy days. Some parts of the path were not possible to cross due to the amount of water. Still a fun place! And allowed to take dogs.

Simple but yet enjoyable. There are 4 different parts to it, each with their own little unique attribute. The trail there is a simple yet well made. The trails are a little longer than one might expect along with 3 paths that all connect into one.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 9 mentions

“From multiple walking trails, to unique art, to native flora and fauna, to waterfront views, this place is a nice retreat from city life.”
