Confirmed from Piedmont Medical Center Trail - Celriver Road Access' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a beautiful trail! It's perfect for 5k or 10 training too as the distance is 5k, and 10k if you go to the end and back. Always a bunch of nice people out there too and you get the chance to see deer literally every time you go out! We have also gotten a bunch of mushrooms that we foraged here too!

Very scenic and easy trail with many great views of the Catawba river. It’s heavily trafficked and also monitored by staff in ATVs so I feel it’s a safe place to walk or bike alone. Although it’s a pretty “busy” trail we always see a variety of wildlife.

Nice, mostly shaded and paved trail. Easy to access and facilities were clean. Water fountains were not working. Trail was clearly marked with emergency markers on pavement to allow first responders to be able to locate you quickly and accurately. Park is kept up nicely. Lots of wildlife.

Love walking it. As long as your quit your likely to see deer or other animals. I walk at different times of the day and i still have a beautiful walk.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
