Confirmed from Pierce Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Shady park with a playground, plus a fenced-in area for dogs.
What runners say about Pierce Park
“Wish more people would clean up after their pets though.”
“A third fenced area, located in the back, at the end of the park entry drive, offers both shade and open field areas; a nice place to park and eat lunch.”
Definitely not what it 'was'.. Very pleases to see the city/county added a park. Made no sense that WAS a parking lot and a very small patch of woods. Haven't been since I was a kid because of the ' activity ' that would go on there.. So hopefully with this new addition things will subside as far as how it was.
Brand new really nice playground with lots of different climbing activities. Shelter with picnic areas and nice deep woods around one edge.Contiguous to the dog parks deep woods on the other, a path runs at the fence line inside the dig park and frequent walkers utilize this.
I always forget about this park but it’s nice and shady and away from the road! short little trail good for the kids. only portapotty available
