Concerts by the Greene County Adult Concert Band during the summer, fireworks and food trucks with live music for Independence Day celebrations, a holiday light display from Halloween through Christmas, usually left up through New Year’s day. A nice pond to walk around and a newly renovated playground.
This large park is centered around an oval-shaped pond that allows catch-and-release fishing. I found a shady spot and hung out here for a bit. It was great to be able to walk around and sit around, though the battalion-sized flock of geese was a bit disconcerting.
