We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Pilgrim Memorial State Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Harborside park commemorating the first pilgrim landing, with Plymouth Rock & a Mayflower replica.
What runners say about Pilgrim Memorial State Park
“There is a clean restroom building with wheelchair accomodations, picnic grounds, and a nice view of the waterfront.”
“There was a marker of the landing with PLYMOUTH ROCK which is now housed in a beautiful pavilion and no one can touch it.”
This place is Awesome!!! The grounds are maintained so beautifully. I love the benches along the walking path. I sat down and looked into the harbor. It was fun thinking about how exciting it must have been for my ancestors anticipating coming to America. While sitting on the bench I noticed people with pets.
Walked to this park from Fishmans Memorial Park and passed by Mayflower II and along to Plymouth Rock. These are two of the reasons I chose to spend a day in Plymouth. Park is clean well maintained and has plenty of shade.
Nice and peaceful spot located between Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II. Perfect for a short, relaxing walk by the water with lovely views and a refreshing sea breeze. Great stop before or after touring the ship.
Pilgrim Memorial State Park comprises two monuments — Plymouth Rock and the National Monument to the Forefathers, both in Plymouth. This waterfront park is home to historic Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II Museum. Frazier Memorial State Pier is there too.
