Wow! One word to describe this place: Fascinating! This place is rich in California history as it marks the site of the last home of Pio Pico, last governor of California when the state was in control of Mexico.
A LOT! of history here, sad to see his success be diminished to a couple of acres, yet again glad that at least he got that given how urbanized the surroundings are. You can clearly see how close this place is to its surrounding houses.
