Confirmed from Pioneer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean space providing picnic tables, a playground and a dog area.
What runners say about Pioneer Park
“Pioneer park is well used but usually super clean (unless your visit was preceded by a kids party) and is well equipped.”
“Beautiful park in a beautiful neighborhood with playground, field, half court basketball, roller blade rink, community garden and pavilions.”
Cute little park for a relaxing stop. Bathrooms and plenty of shade !! Also, very clean.
Nice neighborhood park. In fact it's so nice people come from other neighborhoods just to use it. Good meeting place great place to rent to have family occasions and celebrations. Memorials to some of my former friends and family. And a great sledding hill named after my little friend who passed away too young.
The lake has many fish and is good for fishing especially kids fishing , and the playground is decent many tables, it's also good at walk at many different paths well maintained, ⭐️the best part overall is 100% the community garden anyone can help❤️ and take things home it was redone so there's fruit trees ⭐️
Great park for soccer, hockey, sledding, picnics, walking/jogging, playing on the playground, or catching a frog or 2. Community garden is here to, and the volunteers put a lot of work into it.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
